Isaro Foundation Rwanda Gets a New Leadership

September 1st, 2013

Isaro Foundation Rwanda’s new leadership team takes office this September 1st, 2013: states the official statement from the Chief Executive Officer of Isaro Foundation.

The new leadership team which takes office today was elected on August 13th in Kibuye during a yearly retreat of Isaro Foundation Rwanda. Its leader, the chief coordinating officer, was appointed by Jean Leon Iragena as stated in article 22 of Isaro Foundation constitution.

The new leadership team’s structure is different from the one that took office on July 30th, 2012. The new team will have the chief coordinating officer as commander in chief, usually the title of the Rwanda based team leader was "President". The position of "Permanent Secretary" was removed while there was a new post of "Public Relations Officer".
Also almost all people are new in the Isaro Foundation administration.

"The new structure was proposed by Isaro Foundation Rwanda members themselves; the Isaro Foundation USA did not impose or propose the reform of the structure" Jean Leon explained. He also added that the fact that most people are new in the administration was due to the fact that most people in the former administration had other responsibilities. "The former leadership team did fairly a good job. The fact that they are not in the administration anymore was not due to their competences; it was partially due to other responsibilities they have and to the principles of democracy" Jean Leon concluded.
