The Founder of Isaro Foundation Gets The "Souls Afire" Honors

Jean Leon Iragena was presented the Dr. Darby Ray "Souls Afire" Award by Millsaps College for his altruism, philanthropy and service. The ceremony was held in the United States of America on Millsaps College campus.

In his introduction, Rev. Christopher Ross Donald, the College Chaplain, pointed out that the award was presented to Jean Leon for his achievements in starting the Isaro Foundation and his service to others both on campus and beyond.

The award reads " the division of student life and the office of the chaplain at Millsaps College extol Jean Leon Iragena with the Dr. Darby Ray "Souls Afire" Honors in public commendation for your unselfish role-modeling of altruism, philanthropy, and service, all donated in the support of human kind."

After the reception of the award, through his Facebook account, Jean Leon commented: "I am humbled to receive this award. It reminds me of the contribution I still have to offer in making the world a better place. Most importantly, I honor all young women and men in the Isaro Foundation."
